Around this time of year, as we head into summer, many people are starting to consider a detox as part of their journey towards a “summer body”Everywhere you go there is a new juice cleanse, a new detox diet and a lot of conflicting information.

Knowing your body will help determine if your body needs a detox.you need to detox when your body is overloaded with toxins. These toxins appear differently in everybody but some common signs include bad skin, having problems with weight and constantly lacking energy.
Do they really help with weight loss?
Often people will lose weight while detoxing, particularly around their face and stomach, but it’s important to remember that the purpose of a detox is to cleanse your organs, not to shed pounds. However, doing a cleanse before you start a weight loss program is a great way to condition your body for the journey.The primary detox organs are the liver and kidneys, but sometimes they’re not able to get rid of certain toxins because the load is too large,What doesn’t leave gets stored in the fat, so the body gets rid of it through a secondary system, which is sweat. How will I know if the detox is working?

It is  usually recommended to detox for 7 days to 6 weeks, or even longer, depending on their particular needs. You should work with a trained medical provider to help you determine what length of time is right for you.
